Airevac System
The Saxon 'Airevac" system has been specifically developed to extract air from plastic bags
during the sealing operation using a Saxon Continuous Heat Sealer. The presence of air in a sealed
bag can cause a balloon effect which results in unstable palletization.
Operation Mode:
The Saxon 'Airevac' system opens the top of the bag momentarily with vacuum cups and inserts the suction probe. The top of the bag then creates a seal around the probe and air is withdrawn under vacuum, the probe then withdraws and the bag proceeds along the conveyor for immediate heat sealing.
