Application: This sewing system, fixed to the floor is used to close paper bags. The already reshaped bag is introduced in the infeed, the bag top is trimmed. The sewing process starts when the first photo sensor detects the bag. At the end, the chain is blown horizontally by an air chain blower and is cut close to the bag edge by the pneumatic clipper knife of the sewing head. PLC controlled.
