Saxon® Airwash Bag Top Cleaner

The Airwash Bag Top Cleaner removes dust from the mouth of the filled plastic bag and allows heat sealing to take place cleanly and without the risk of poor seals due to dust contanimation. All bags filled with powdery products suffer from this problem to a greater or lesser extent and applications for this bolt-on accessory are widespread in many different industries.

The Saxon Airwash Bag Top Cleaner opens the sides of the bag and as the leading edge of the bag passes through, a high velocity jet of air is switched on (timed from the infeed sensor) and continues until the trailing edge of the bag has passed, washing away the contamination from the insides of the bag top in the area to be sealed. The resultant air/dust mixture is sucked away by the fan unit through the apertures in the chamber and are deposited in a collection bag inside the fan unit.
