Designed for pre-glued, multi-wall, pinch-style paper bags, the versatile PBC 8000 delivers a quality seal every time, making it the perfect sift-proof sealing solution.

A valuable addition to any semi- or fully automated packaging line, the PBC 8000 features a maintenance-free, variable-speed, direct-drive system. Three independently controlled heat zones seal pre-glued bag flaps up to 2.5 inches, and an extended non-stick durable folder blade guides the bag top, resulting in fast, quality bag closures unmatched in reliability.

PBC 6000™ Series Pinch Bag Closer

The PBC 6000™ is specifically designed to seal pinch style multi-wall paper bags. Pinch style bags are manufactured with a pre-applied, hot melt adhesive strip that's positioned along the top flap of the bag. Once this adhesive strip is heat activated and folded over the resulting bag seal is considered a "sift-proof closure" and is widely used to package fine powder products, premium pet foods, premix food products, animal feeds, chemical and hazardous products. Fast and easy to use, the Pinch Bag Closer 6000 can handle a variety of bag sizes and its continuous sealing process and variable speed drive means the system can operate up to 85 linear FPM. Various infeed systems means the PBC can be successfully used in semi or fully automated bagging lines.
