Our plain sew 400 models are available with a full range of options that make them the perfect closing solution for semi to fully automated bagging lines. This versatile, plain sewn closure is commonly used to close a variety of bags including multi-wall paper, woven polypropylene, fiber and jute.

Plain Sew Systems:

Model 400PRO™ - Basic pedestal sewing system designed for medium to high volume bagging applications. Features our standard Model 100™ Sewing Head with operating speeds up to 55 linear FPM.

Model 400NS™ - This model features an automated infeed and thread cutting system. Perfect for medium to high volume production applications, the system comes with our standard Model 100 Sewing Head with operational speeds up to 55 linear FPM.

Model 400NS Fold Over™ - Comes with an infeed system that automatically folds the bag top over creating an unique fold and sew concept resulting in a stronger bag closure and prevents debris from falling into the bag when opened. The fold over closure requires at least 7 inches of free top and is compatible with light paper and most woven polypropylene bags. Uses are standard Model 100 Sewing Head with an operating speed up to 50 linear FPM.

Model 400NS Fold Over with Rotary Knife™ - In addition to the fold over infeed system, this model uses a high speed, pneumatic rotary knife to cut the thread between closely positioned bags. Comes with a Model 100 Sewing Head that will operate up to 50 linear FPM.

Model 400HP™ - Designed for high speed bagging applications, the unit features our high speed Model 200™ sewing head, a rotary knife system and an automated infeed system. Perfect for bagging lines that need to operate in the range of 45 to 75 linear feet per minute.
